Upgrading to QIS 6 Course
[2 Day Course]
This two day, intensive hands-on class, will provide QIS System Administrators and Power Users with the education needed to upgrade to QIS 6. Topics include an in-depth look into the new features offered in QIS 6; server and client computer requirements; database upgrade checklist and requirements; and more. Each student will have their own implementation site to work on. In addition, QISoft will work with each student so they may have a copy of their own database for use in the upgrade workshop.
Attendees may register for one or both days of this course.

Day one will be a hands-on workshop where each student will do their own QIS 6 upgrade, database upgrade and configuration of QIS system.
Day two of this course will consist of overviews, discussion and hands-on experience with the new QIS 6 client. Those attending day one of this course will have the knowledge necessary to explain to others in the organization what’s new with QIS 6.
PrerequisitesThis class is designed for customers who are responsible for administering and supporting QIS. Students should have an In-depth knowledge of QIS 4 or QIS 5.

UPGRADING TO QIS 6.0
This Webcast is intended for customers currently using QIS 5 who would like to know more about the improvements and differences in QIS 6.
Topics include: visual and archite'ctural changes; navigation/customization improvements; major product improvements (security, document library, analysis, etc), plus much more. This Webcast will cover high level considerations in upgrading your QIS installation to version 6.0, but is not intended to replace a more advanced, in-person training class.
